Una nube detrás de las nubes

La fotografía corresponde a una parte de la "Nebulosa Norteamérica" [NGC7000], que lleva ese nombre gracias a que su forma es similar (bajo los criterios de la ávida imaginación de los astrónomos modernos) a la de la parte superior del continente americano. Esta sería la región del "Golfo de México" y "Centroamérica". Es el resultado de superponer cuatro exposiciones de 15 minutos cada una. Fue tomada desde Mt. Laguna, en California, con un Takahashi Epsilon-210 (un telescopio de 8.5" especialmente diseñado para tomar fotografías) y una cámara CCD (digital) SBIG ST-10XE.

La belleza de la fotografía se puede apreciar mejor si se hace clic sobre ella.

But what do we have but images?
And wasn't this the precise, exact moment in which I had to see it, as you do now?

Once again, the sky gives me a lesson: there are beautiful clouds behind the clouds you see. But I must ask: what is it that is behind these new clouds?
What magnificent beauty lies now hidden behind this which is so far away?
Will there always be new clouds to cover that which must remain hidden?
And what is that which must remain hidden?

::: At least I have an answer to the last question. That which is needed to exist, for me to discover it.
